We had a special treat on Tuesday of this week when the authors Lyn McNicol and Laura Jackson, who wrote a series of books about Badger the Mystical Mutt, visited the school. We enjoyed hearing a few chapters from the first book and particularly enjoyed meeting Badger! Badger's family comes from Orkney so this made it even more special! Infact, Badger visited the Ring of Brodgar when he was here, and you can see the video below!

Primary 2 come to visit
We have been enjoying sharing our RME learning with Primary 2 this term. We have been working together to learn the Easter story and were given the challenge of putting this into the correct sequence. It has been very tricky but we have nearly completed this.

Independent learning
We are learning about Scottish history in the class this term and everyone has been very interested in this topic. We were very impressed when Marcus told us he was researching Robert Bruce at home and was making a poster. This is the final product - well done Marcus!
